    Medici are associated with established insurers, who are experts in travel insurance. Naturally there is an increase in premium associated with covering slightly higher risk conditions, but with our experience in providing low cost cover in the past, we can minimise this increase as much as possible. top


  4. When I call your customer line how qualified will the agents be to talk about medical conditions?
    Our customer line, is manned by operators who are well versed (and trained) to deal with travel insurance quotes, in the context of pre-existing medical conditions. We do employ trained nurses within our organisation for the processing of claims and for medical matters. top


  5. Is your customer service line a free phone number?
    No, our customer line is a national rate telephone number staffed in the UK. top


  6. How do I make a claim against this insurance policy?
    You can contact the claims department by telephone. The relevant telephone numbers are displayed on your travel insurance schedule, once issued. top


  7. What if I want to cancel my insurance policy?
    A refund of premium can be allowed if your policy is cancelled before the start date shown on the policy or within the 14-day approval period (whichever is sooner) if the policy does not meet your requirements. Just telephone us or email your request to our customer services department. top


  8. I am not living in the UK, will Medici Travel Insurance cover me?
    Unfortunately, Medici is unable to offer travel insurance if you are not resident in the UK. top


  9. I didn't have time to book my travel insurance policy before I departed. Can I arrange cover now, even though I am abroad?
    No. Cover is not available once you have left the UK. top


  10. Can I include other members of my family on the one policy from Medici Travel Insurance??
    Yes, you can include other family members on the plan and the overall premium will depend on their medical status; if they also had any pre existing medical conditions, for example. top


  11. I am going Skiing; does this policy cover winter sports?
    Medici's travel insurance policies do not cover skiing or winter sports activities. top


  12. Is there an age limit for Medici Travel Insurance cover?
    Single trip cover is available up to age 99 years when buying a quote online. Quotes for those customers aged 100+ can be obtained via our customer line. Annual Multi-trip cover is available up to age 74 years (cover only available to customers aged 65-74 if no pre-existing medical conditions) .top


  13. If I buy a group or couple policy, are we covered when travelling alone?
    Yes, providing that all individuals are named on the policy. top
